Once upon a time, there was Vulpot, the dean of mountain guides and refuge managers. His renowned soup, stretched to accommodate the number of guests, was for generations the only warm sustenance for mountain dwellers.

But times change, and even the legendary broth has retired.

At Capanna Mautino, the cuisine is simple and authentic, featuring dishes that celebrate Piedmontese tradition, from appetizers to local specialties.
