Ski
Mountaineering
The Refuge is the starting point for many ski trips, in the Monti della Luna.
Among the most fascinating peaks, Cima Fournier, Saurel, Gimont, Dormillouse, Terra Nera, and many others, offer wide and panoramic slopes, your choice for all levels.
Each itinerary is an opportunity to discover unique snowy landscapes, with descents that offer strong emotions and spectacular views.
In winter, you can reach the Mautino Hut from Bousson or by chairlift from Cesana. Leave the chairlift at Sagnalonga, from here, continue on snowshoes or skis for approximately 4.5 km, with minimal elevation gain.
Snowshoeing
The Monti della Luna are a paradise for winter trekkers. They offer an incredible variety of trails that wind through woods and snow-covered slopes.
Among the most fascinating peaks are Cima Fournier, Saurel, and Gimont. Valid alternatives include Col Bousson and Chabaud.
